Westgate Hall
Westgate Hall, adjacent to Tudor House and Garden, also provides historic and atmospheric surroundings for you to enjoy your wedding or civil ceremony. It is licensed to conduct weddings and civil ceremonies and accommodates up to 80 guests, depending on the required seating layout.
You can also use Westgate Hall as the venue for your reception or wedding breakfast … this means that you and your guests do not have to move from one location to another as the day progresses. As an alternative, however, the nearby Banqueting Hall offers more elaborate surroundings.
We do not provide event catering at Westgate Hall, leaving you free to choose from the many catering companies here in Southampton.
If you wish to hold your wedding or civil ceremony in Westgate Hall, you will need to contact the Registry Office to arrange for a Registrar:

Prices, Westgate Hall 1st April 2013- 31st March 2014
Wedding Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships and Receptions. Monday – Sunday (excluding bank holidays) Minimum two hour booking - £165 per hour for the first two hours for each additional hour £85 per hour until 5pm/ £175.00 standard rate per hour after 5pm.
Any set up time, or additional hours will be charged at the rate above.
Public holidays and bank holidays will be charged at double-time, including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
